Meet the Wood Decor Team
In 2003, Jeff Wodzinski and Joe Hicks decided to combine their artistic and creative talents to start Wood Decor, Inc. Woodworking became Jeff and Joe’s art, expressed in a different medium.
Joe
Joe Hicks, President
Wood carving is where it all started for Joe, standing beside his Dad in his wood shop. He immediately took to the art of woodcarving and building small projects. With his natural artistic flare he carried his passion into earning a Master’s degree in Fine arts.
Joe’s first taste of woodworking was a good one, bringing him back to the wood bench to build replica antique furniture for 15 years.
His artistic background lends to his superior ability to design cabinets to compliment the surroundings.
Keeping up with the most up to date trends, Joe’s designs continue to impress our clientele year after year. It’s his keen sense of design along with his ability to see a project through, from concept to the final cabinet installation, that keeps Wood Decor running so smoothly.
Outside of work he spends time Playing hockey, skiing, and coaching his kids.
Jeff
Jeff “Woody” Wodzinski
Working with his Dad and brother as a kid Jeff got his first taste of woodworking.
But what always intrigued Jeff the most wasn’t just about banging a hammer. It was the making of something…creating…then sitting back to marvel at what’s just been built.
When he was older, he turned his creative passion into a degree in Communications. After graduation, Jeff put his talents to work as a freelance videographer/ editor working on documentaries, commercials, and television shows.
He takes great pride in the creative work he and his team at Wood Decor consistently produce for their clients. His passion for creating high-quality, custom cabinetry is a big reason why so many of Wood Decor’s customers keep coming back, time-after-time.
When Jeff’s not building cabinets, or working with clients, he’s busy volunteering his time coaching or working with Boy Scouts. When he has free time, he spends it with his family finding the next great adventure.
Frank
Frank Pruyn
Frank brings over twenty years of woodworking experience to the Wood Decor team, with the last nine years building and installing custom cabinetry. Franks keen eye and ability to build superior products makes him a great asset to Wood Decor.
Time with his family, brewing beer and making cheese occupy his time out of the shop.
Bob
Bob Stewart
Bob builds fine custom cabinetry and has been designing, building, and installing both commercial and residential cabinetry for over 25 years.
He brings an incredible amount of knowledge of fine joinery andcraftsmanship that is unmet by anyone else in the area.
Riding motorcycles, traveling and hiking keep him busy outside of work.
